Since its inception in 1993, the Komen Denver Race for the CureŽ has grown from 3500 participants to more than 63,000 in 2004. In these 14 years, the Denver Metropolitan Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation has contributed more than $14 million to Denver Area not-for-profits focusing on breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. In addition, the Denver Affiliate has provided more than $6 million to fund breast cancer research through the National Komen Foundation.

RRSR does not duplicate or replicate any existing service or broadcast information that is generally available through other media, public radio, or television or through the mailings of the Colorado Talking Book Library for the Blind.
